Pastor Jon Boulet
Jon’s connection to the church and Hockessin dates back to 1985 when, as a boy, he came to the church with his parents. After graduating high-school, Jon left for college, and upon graduation, was commissioned in the US Air Force. In 2006, he answered a call to ministry and returned to Sycamore Hill Church. Jon continues to serve in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and resides with his family in Kennett, Pa. He and his high-school sweetheart, Andrea, have four children: Timothy, Joshua, Ransom, and Grace.
Terry has been part of Sycamore Hill Church since 1999. Over the years, he has transitioned between a career of engineering and pastoring. In 2015, Terry returned as the Associate Pastor, focusing on areas of discipleship and worship.
Terry graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, and from Biblical Theological Seminary in 2010 with a Masters in Missional Theology, he is currently studying Worship Arts at Northern Seminary.
Terry serves in the areas of discipleship, community group ministry and worship arts.
Terry and his wife, Libby, have four children: Eli, Eden, Silas, and Mercy.
John & Katie Coleman
Youth Ministry Leaders
John and Katie Coleman joined our staff in 2005 working with our youth.
John is a graduate of the University of Delaware in Newark, DE, and currently works as a computer programmer.
Katie is a graduate of Eastern University where she received a masters degree in counseling.
Children’s Ministries Director
Sharla joined our staff in 2011 after volunteering as the Pre-School Ministries Director for three years.
Sharla feels passionately about the importance of children’s ministry and her prayer is that every child will enjoy coming to church and will learn about God’s great plan for them. Her desire is that children will learn of God’s great plan for their lives and, in hearing the Word of God, learn to apply it.
Sharla and her husband, Brent, lived in the Midwest before moving to Delaware in 2005. They have three sons: Garrett, Jacob, and Christian.
