jon Boulet | senior pastor
Jon’s connection to the church and Hockessin dates back to 1985 when, as a boy, he came to the church with his parents. After graduating high-school, Jon left for college, and upon graduation, was commissioned in the US Air Force.
In 2008, he answered a call to ministry and became the Senior Pastor of Sycamore Hill Church. Jon continues to serve in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and resides with his family in Kennett, Pa.
Jon and his wife, Andrea, have four children: Timothy, Joshua, Ransom, and Grace.

Duane davis | pastor - THE HILL
DuAne has served individuals and families in Philadelphia and surrounding communities for 20 years, in the fields of Education and Human Services. After accepting the call to the Gospel ministry in 2008, he began serving as an Associate Minister of the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Philadelphia. DuAne’s ministry later led him to take on the role of Campus Pastor of the Chosen 300 Ministries Worship & Outreach Center. In 2018, he accepted the call to come and serve as Pastor of Sycamore Hill Church-Wilmington.
DuAne graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He also attended Lincoln University where he received a Master of Human Services degree. Seeking to be further equipped for ministry, DuAne attended Biblical Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Urban Leadership.
DuAne and his, wife, Sonya, have two children, Asha and Jai’mere.

JoN LIMM | ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Jon has been a member of Sycamore Hill Church since 2016 and joined church staff in January of 2021. His prior professional experience was in the area of investment banking finance.
Jon will graduate from Gateway Seminary of the SBC in the Spring of 2023 with a Masters Degree in Theological Studies. Ordained as Associate Pastor in 2023, Jon oversees small groups, adult discipleship, and the young adults ministry. He serves the Church by preaching and teaching the Bible, administration, and counseling.
Jon and his wife, Linsey, live in Newark and have 2 children: Aiden and Ellie. Jon enjoys playing guitar, cycling, disc golf, and jogging around Newark with his dog.

katie coleman | youth ministry leader
Katie joined our staff in 2005 working with our youth.
Katie is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Eastern University where she received a masters degree in counseling.
Katie and her husband, John, have four children: Sam, Ben, Ryan, and Elyse.

ANDREW CONNELL | MINISTER OF WORSHIP & YOUTH
Andrew started attending Sycamore Hill Church in 2012 during his time at the University of Delaware. He graduated with an M.S. in Molecular Biology and worked as a research scientist until joining our staff in 2022. As our Minister of Worship, Andrew is grateful to be able to use his passion for music to lead our congregation into God’s presence, to glorify Him through song. He also serves alongside Katie Coleman as a Minister of Youth, where he enjoys teaching and discipling our teenagers toward pursuing Jesus above all. In his free time he can be found noodling on a guitar, sipping a coffee, reading, or taking a hike.
Andrew and his wife, Devon, have three children: Micah, Eliza, and Renna.
CARRISSA DELANEY | Preschool Coordinator
Carrissa is a native to North Carolina and moved north for Lancaster Bible College in 2008. Carrissa received her Bachelor's in Bible and Master's in Marriage and Family Counseling. After getting married, Carrissa and husband, John, started attending Sycamore Hill in 2018. Shortly after, Carrissa and John started serving in the Children's Ministry until Carrissa became pre-school coordinator in Fall 2023. Carrissa still practices clinical counseling in Kennett Square, PA and Newark, DE.
Carrissa and John live in Wilmington, DE and have two daughters, Lila and McKenna. Carrissa enjoys music (singing and playing instruments), reading, being with the community, and spending time with her family.
JOENATHAN HUNTER | MUSIC DIRECTOR - THE HILL
Joe has attended The Hill since 2020 and joined our staff in 2021.
Joe began serving as a church musician at the age of 16 and has since filled roles such as Choir Director, Lead Musician, Worship Director, and Music Director.
His musical training includes vocal opera, jazz improv for piano, and advanced music theory. His formal education included 2 years of Electrical Engineering at Delaware State University and 2 years of Computer Science at Purdue University, before deciding to go into music production full-time. Joe has worked with, written for, produced, and recorded several local and major recording artists in his career and has a heart for giving back to the church all the knowledge and experience God has given him over the years.
Joe and his wife, Tara, have 3 children: Joenathan III, Nyah, and Naimah.
CHRISTIE WHALEN | CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Christie has been attending Sycamore Hill Church since 2006. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She continued her education at Wilmington University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Education and School Counseling.
Christie taught middle school for ten years before staying home with her children. She was the coordinator of MOPS at SHC for two years before joining the church staff. She is grateful for this opportunity to use her background in education to serve the church through children’s ministry.
Christie and her husband, Josh, have three children: Nolan, Madelyn, and Luke.

TAIT DEGENNARO | COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Tait has been a member of Sycamore Hill Church since 2013 and joined our staff in 2018.
Tait graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Graphic Design. She is passionate about visual communication and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord, and our church, in creative ways. Tait serves alongside her husband with the church’s youth ministry. She loves college basketball, board games, podcasts, and coffee.
Tait and her husband, Dave, have three children: Miles, Frances, and Winnie.

Molly Heizer | Communications & Financial Administrator
Molly joined our staff in 2006 as a part-time administrative assistant. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with family.
Molly and her husband, Phil, have six children and twelve grandchildren.

Debbie Longacre | Office Administrator
Debbie has attended Sycamore Hill Church since 1999 and joined our staff in 2001 as the office administrator.
Debbie has a servant’s heart for the church and its members and volunteers her time as the church clerk, at the church Welcome Center and in the Children’s Ministry.
Debbie has two children and two grandchildren.
