OVERVIEW

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting is a church-wide season of prayer in which we desire to begin our year by renewing our commitment to seek the Lord as a unified, local church body through corporate prayer. It is the hope that these small daily prompts teach us to pray according to Scripture, expand our prayer palette, and develop the habit of prayerfulness in us.

To finish the time we will gather on Saturday, January 31st for a night of prayer and fasting at Hockessin starting at 7:00 pm. This night of prayer falls on the eve of the Lord’s Supper.

PRAYER CALLS AND TIMES

On Tuesdays, members of our church gather for a prayer Zoom call at 7:00 am. If you are interested in joining that call, please reach out directly to Pastor Andrew.

PRAYER TARGETS

Join us as we focus on one specific prayer target each day of our 21 Days of Prayer. Each day will focus on areas of spiritual need to cover in believing prayer.

  • 1/11/26 — Pray for reverence and honor for God’s holy name — Matthew 6:9

  • 1/12/26 — Pray for God’s kingdom to come on earth as in heaven — Matthew 6:10

  • 1/13/26 — Pray for daily dependence on God and a forgiving heart — Matthew 6:11-13

  • 1/14/26 — Pray for humility to receive God’s revealed truth — Matthew 11:25–26

  • 1/15/26 — Pray for grace to forgive those who wrong us — Luke 23:34

  • 1/16/26 — Pray for trust in the Father at every stage of life — Luke 23:46

  • 1/17/26 — Pray for surrender to God’s will in all things — Matthew 26:39

  • 1/18/26 — Pray for boldness to speak God’s Word — Acts 4:29–30

  • 1/19/26 — Pray for deliverance and protection for God’s people — Acts 12:5

  • 1/20/26 — Pray for the salvation of those who do not yet believe — Romans 10:1-4

  • 1/21/26 — Pray for joy, peace, and hope through the Holy Spirit — Romans 15:13

  • 1/24/26 — Pray to grasp the depth of Christ’s love and fullness — Ephesians 3:18–19

  • 1/25/26 — Pray for love that grows in knowledge and discernment — Philippians 1:9–11

  • 1/26/26 — Pray with thanksgiving for faith, love, and hope in serving — 1 Thessalonians 1:2–3

  • 1/27/26 — Pray for holiness and sanctification until Christ returns — 1 Thessalonians 5:23–24

  • 1/28/26 — Pray for the rapid spread of the gospel — 2 Thessalonians 3:1

  • 1/29/26 — Pray for hearts directed into God’s love and Christ’s endurance — 2 Thessalonians 3:5

  • 1/30/26 — Pray for comfort and strength — 2 Thessalonians 2:16–17

  • 1/31/26 — Pray to be equipped to do God’s will in every good work — Hebrews 13:20–21

The 21 Days of Prayer begins this Sunday, January 11th and our first Zoom prayer call will be on Tuesday, January 13th.
